K-8 Homeschool Program
First Monday of each month, September through May, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Participation in museum-based science education programs can significantly increase students’ excitement, content knowledge and motivation to pursue additional science learning opportunities. During the Homeschool Program, students in Kindergarten through 8th grades engage in hands-on STEM learning through Discovery Labs, educational films, and exploration of our interactive exhibit halls.
While visiting, students are exposed to a variety of topics; given the time to engage with their peers; encounter resources they may not have at home, and learn their way!
Orlando Science Center’s dynamic Homeschool field trip experience are linked to state standards and families are given the freedom to choose which courses are best for their students.
Join us monthly during the school year for a hands-on STEM workshop designed for your student’s grade level.
